With my diverse background in theatre, dance, media and interactive projects I am adept at dealing with the complexity of hybrid or new forms, unusual sites and the general public. I like looking at the big picture.

I have been the dramaturge for a number of critically acclaimed dance and interactive performance works with Stompin (On Your Marks, Citizen and 6001-1),Luke George (Now Now Now and Not About Face), Brooke Stamp (Reverb), Martin Del Amo (Reverb and Slow Dances for Fast Times), Tamara Saulwick (Public), Paula Lay (10,000 Small Deaths), Madeleine Flynn and Tim Humphrey (Ensemble) and Liesel Zink (fifteen and The Stance). This year I will work on projects with Thomas Quirk in Brisbane and Tanya Voges/Kellie O’Dempsey in Sydney.

I have also worked in smaller capacities as mentor and outside eye for similarly varied processes.

Highlights include;

In 2012, Liesel Zink’s fifteen was part of two ‘best of’ lists in Melbourne (Timeout) and Brisbane (Off Street Press) for the year in performance.

Also in 2012, Luke George’s critically acclaimed Now Now Now toured to Norway and the Netherlands after a sell out season in Dance Massive in 2011 and garnered 2 Green Room nominations.

Martin Del Amo’s critically acclaimed Slow Dances for Fast Times, presented by Carriageworks, Sydney, 2013.

Tamara Saulwick’s very positively reviewed PUBLIC as part of the Big West festival 2013. (‘Public explores the porous borders between public and private behaviour, and is the most sophisticated, not to mention enjoyable, work I’ve seen in this vein since Back to Back’s Small Metal Objects…Public is an invigorating and profoundly considered work, with a lightness and confidence that stays with you when it ends.’ Cameron Woodhead, The Age)
