Just opened a show at Substation on Friday night as part of Deadpan‘s ongoing collaborative practice. The work is a three channel video installation dealing with imaginary lines, desire lines, arbitrary marks on a map…

This is our eighth work in two years which is either some sort of madness or extreme art output. Admittedly most if not all these works have been small works  – but what starting to happen is that the works themselves are becoming part our ongoing practice  – so the nature of output itself is questioned. Thematic and formal ideas are threads that may carry through a couple of works and then fall away only to rise again further in the future.

Interesting…the Sub 12 exhibition runs from July 30 – August 22, 2010.
