Visible City
Visible City was a large scale collaborative project which invited artists from around Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia to take part. For the three weeks of the Melbourne Fringe Festival in 2010, an industrial shopfront space in the CBD was home to the artists as they were asked to create work on the streets.
The artists grappled with site, public space, audience and each other in an attempt to ‘make visible the city’.
I was the Director of the project and the conceptual designer in collaboration with Melbourne Fringe.
The legacy document for the project is here – Visible City.
