LALA
LALA was founded on the idea that practitioners that were working in the fields of live art, participatory practice, interventionist art, socially engaged practices, relational aesthetics and the like had nowhere to find out about other work or to see what was happening around the country. I began the blog in 2009 and edited and ran it for 18 months before asking several contributers to assist in the writing. In early 2011 it moved to its own URL and has increased its content and reach. It now has featured articles from every state in Australia and through its calendar and twitter account (LALA_aus) keeps people abreast of work all over the country. My continuing aim for LALA is to increase dialogue, create opportunities and connect practitioners.
