I usually am fairly balanced in my viewpoints about things – for indeed there is always another side to the story – sometimes many. (Perhaps I am secretly a Libran)
I also am not aversed to change. When it comes, you have to embrace it -see it for the opportunity it is and move forward, even if it is painful and means more work.
But there are some times when you look at a situation and you cannot be balanced, you can’t even begin to see what possible reason is operating on one of those sides.
In the end all we have in the arts is respect, trust and people’s goodwill. If we lose that amongst such a small community of people, what then happens to us? Who do we become?
Let us strive for the best – be the very best we can be, but let us not forget who we are and that we are not in a business, we are more than that. We are so much more that that.
