Who are you?
me, lately sometimes others – depending upon how the balance between my internal drive and environmental thrust is positioned.

Where are you?
at my computer, recently loaned to me by a friend whom I live with – my lap top recently died. The computer is in my house, in which we live.

What are you working on today?
today , well now, being the end of the day I am referring to as today (technically I should be writing about today today but I need to sleep first). Today I had a meeting with someone from the NT govt about touring a project of mine. I then spent many hours in an amazing old rarely used dusty space being an outside eye for a showing coming up on Friday. On my way home I bumped into an old friend whom has recently discovered a love for horticulture. I then spent many hours mapping / scoring / debating a work currently in creation.

Have you travelled this year?
yes.

Are you committed to Melbourne?
this month.

What do you miss when you leave Melbourne?
my people. The view from my window at home.

Scenes of the Beginning from the End (NYID 2001)
The Bells (5 Angry Men 1995-2001)

What piece of work have you been involved in that has meant the most to you?
Great Wall of Books (well 2005)
a session in the ground on the air (my first interactive installation 2003)

Dario is a producer, performer and director. His company Well Theatre is currently creating the massive performance installation TOYS in collaboration with Melbourne Fringe and Full Tilt @ the Arts Centre.
