Deadpan
Deadpan is a research and art collaboration, with Willoh S.Weiland. The two artists engage with personal concerns which are often social, personal or political in nature. Willoh and Martyn have worked together in many contexts and across many cities, they enjoy the challenges of working in difficult or unknown environments with new collaborators. Deadpan have appeared at Electrofringe, Tiny Stadiums Festival, ANZ Australia Film Festival Beijing, This is the time…this is the record of the time… Perth and Sub 12 Exhibition Substation Newport. Deadpan were the recipient of an Asialink grant to travel to Beijing in 2009.
