Continuing to look at the relationships between people, rules and liveness Clair Korobacz, Tristan Meecham, Emily Sexton, Olivia Crang and myself have undertaken a second set of workshops.
The outcomes are varied and the form of the pieces are still evolving. After being in Sydney on the weekend it became clear to me that it is easier for me to talk about this sort of work there than it is here. Any attempt to try and mount this work here will be a test of the Melbourne audiences ability to be able to stay with it and be open to it. Maybe I am underestimating my hometown, I hope so.
Our last rehearsal is on wednesday and then we will be on hiatus until after the Melbourne Fringe Festival in September. During the layover two of the pieces made during the last two intensives will be shown sometime over the next two months.
